Vendon web application excels at visualizing and emphasizing relevant vending data for effective monitoring of your business. We process and bring you live data (Depending on VM connection protocol) for prompt and adequate decision making aimed at reducing downtime and improving efficiency of stock refill and enmeshment operations.
Compare live vend sales to hourly averages for each individual machine. Monitor and analyse different sales patterns and peak hours to improve vending performance. In this view you can also forecast individual VM sales trajectories based on previous week data.
Map view provides comprehensive geographical overview of your machines and statuses. Quickly track broken or empty machines; create optimal maintenance route.
By mapping each component to a product purchase, we are able to track exact product and ingredient level in your vending machine. Product ingredient recipes can be configured according to your needs.
Vending data can quite rapidly grow in size and complexity. Also diversity of communication standards has made it complicated to summarize vending data. We provide unified reports that summarizes and visualizes relevant data for analysis of your vending business.
Sales figures grouped by products in your vending machines. Review individual machines or summary across all machines.
Very often an empty, broken or offline machine is the reason why sales didn't meet your forecast. Downtime report help to identify and explain low sales results.
Browse through vend history in our vend log. It lists all the relevant information - time, vending machine, product, quantity, price, sales total and type of payment.
Our system provides complete backlog of all refill and encashment operations. Refill log has detailed overview on what products have been added, who was responsible and when did the operation take place.
Alerts are crucial and integral part of our system. Importance of alerts in vending business is no-brainer. Therefore, not only we provide instant alert messages on SMS and e-mail, we've also spend a great deal of effort to make the content of message relevant and well targeted only to responsible personnel. We understand that redundant and excessive amount of alerts can cause opposite effect.
In our system alerts are scoped by location and employee's role. Individual rules can be applied to fine-tune alert sensitivity and delivery method - SMS or e-mail.
Vendon software provides an easy way to organize and plan vending machine maintenance routes and required product stocks.
Depending on assigned locations and employee’s role, individual route plan can be predefined for each employee. Routes and refill plans can then be generated automatically according to predefined schedule or created manually. Required product stock is calculated based on latest product and component levels at the moment. Extra product reserve can easily be added on top of required levels.
Generated route and refill plan includes complete list of locations employee must visit and summary of required product stock for each machine.
We customize application for expeditor, administrator and user role by removing unnecessary functionality and access rights. Also individual user rights can easily be modified down to every button in our we application.
Restricting access based on user role lets you protect sensitive business data and removes unnecessary functionality making web application less prone to human errors.
Live products, cash and vending figures bring transparency and uncompromised control over internal processes to your business. Not only you can discover new opportunities to increase efficiency of your vending but also eliminate bad practices internally.
Vending telemetry solution addresses following areas of improvement:
• elimination of refill and encashment fraud
• reduction of downtime
• increased efficiency of refill operations
• improved positioning and range of merchandise
• easier refill and encashment route management

Executive
Vendon telemetry device supports EXE communication standard. EXE is communication standard for vending machines and the coin acceptors. The "Executive" protocol (also known as "Exe" or "Protocol-A") was developed as a proprietary standard by Mars (MEI) for communications with payment systems (coin-mechanisms, etc) in vending machines.
MDB
Vendon telemetry device supports MDB communication standard. MDB is communication standard for vending machines and the coin acceptors. Multi Drop Bus or MDB standard was issued by NAMA and EVA, originally developed by CoinCo Inc. USA. MDB protocol is a real time interface that various peripherals use for communicating with the vending machine controller (VMC).
Vendon vBox can operate in MDB sniffer mode. This is non intrusive MDB connection where vBox only listens to MDB master (VMC). This can be used to detect if VMC has enabled coin acceptance and if cashless is enabled. This is hint to understand that VM is able to sell products. This mode also supports real-time Cashless purchases.
Vendon telemetry device reads EVA-DTS file from vending machine. The aim of the EVA DTS is to provide a standard format for data which is required by operators of vending machines. The standard defines the structure of common data elements and describes the means of the transfer of the data.
Connectivity (Interfaces)
Vendon telemetry device is compatible with Vending machines through RS 232 (eg. DB9 and Audio Jack).
DEX
vBox can be used to read EVA-DTS data using DEX. It operates at fixed baudrate of 9600bps. EVA-DTS is requested from server. The NAMA Date EXchange (DEX) standard defines an ASCII data set that can be read from the vending machine using a handheld PC or telemeter (remote communication) device. This data does not include details on every vended product, but instead includes readings from a series of internal meters, that function similar to automobile odometers, designed to track deposited coins and bills, credit/debit card swipes, and column sales.
DDCMP
Vendon telemetry device supports DDCMP communication protocol. DDCMP can be used with fixed baudrate of 9600bps or enhanced DDCMP starting at 2400bps with speeds up to 38400bps. EVA-DTS is requested from Vendon server. However VMC (Vending machin controller) initiated event reports can be pushed to Vendon server as well.
FTL
Vendon vBox supports reading EVA-DTS over MDB FTL.
Built in SIM module with autonomous power supply ensures un-interrupted GPRS data communication over GSM network. In case of network failure, device can recover offline data once network connection is re-established.
High capacity built in lithium battery provides hours of operation even when vending machine is unplugged or experiences power outage.
GPRS data connection fees are included in service package.
Mobile payment enables customer to pay for purchase with mobile phone by sending premium SMS to dedicated service number. In several scenarios mobile payments are more convenient and safer when compared to cash or even cashless payment methods.
vBox can act as mobile payment device and instruct your vending machine based on SMS payments. This service is extremely responsive and can take even less time than finding coins in your wallet.
Premium SMS functionality is provided in cooperation with mobile payment aggregators and is a part of 3rd party agreement. Financial terms of this service are not part of Vendon telemetry pricing.
