    Sanda Abola

    CFO

    Born in 1982. CFO and Business Controller of our group companies since Aug 2011. From 2007 to 2010, Vice President of Latvijas Krājbanka AS and chairperson of the Board of LKB Līzings SIA. From 2004 to 2007, Head of the Industrial Leasing Department in DnB NORD Līzings.

    Bachelor of Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Latvia, Bachelor of Law from the Business School Turība, Professional Master in Finance from BA School of Business and Finance, MBA from Swiss Business School.

    Investment Director, BaltCap

    Born in 1975. Member of the Council since December 2011. Martins joined BaltCap in early 2010 to run the BaltCap Latvia Venture Capital Fund, a EUR 30 million fund with a focus on expanding financing for SMEs in Latvia. Before joining BaltCap, Mr. Jaunarajs held various positions in Latvian commercial banks. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and the Head of Capital Markets and Investment Banking division at Parex Bank. Martins holds an MBA from the University of Latvia.

    Born in 1968. Member of the Council since February 2012. Alvis is engaged in IT, telecommunication, real estate, financial product and investment businesses as a private entrepreneur.

    He has studied in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Latvia.

    Born in 1977. Member of the Board and CEO of Vendon since May 2011. After graduating from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Martins has been actively involved in development of new IT & web business for over 10 years, including Country Manager in Latvia for Aspiro from its launch in 2001 till 2005, various positions at MTG between 2005 and 2007, e.g., Baltic Regional Manager for MTG New Media. Before establishment of Vendon, Martins was a member of the Board of Directors at Text2reach.com – the leading micropayment and SMS bulking provider in Baltic region.

    Born in 1981. Member of the Board and Business Development Director since May 2011. Mr. Labans was formerly a member of the Board of Directors at Text2reach.com – the leading micropayment and SMS bulking provider in Baltic region. Between 2005 - 2009, he held various positions at Aspiro - a Scandinavian telecom company, e.g., as the Country Manager for Latvia. Mr. Labans holds the Professional Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from BA School of Business and Finance.

    Born in 1947. Georges has played active role in telemetry solution development for European vending industry for more than 10 years, and joined Vendon team in mid-2011 to bring onboard his market knowledge and networking as well as professional approach to industrial sales development.

  • Edgars Binans

    Edgars Binans

    Born in 1979. Edgars is responsible for hardware and firmware development of Vendon devices. He was among the developers of the first Vendon device in 2009, and his scope of responsibility includes compatibility and integration of Vendon devices. Edgars has extensive experience in various programming languages since 1998, and programming embedded systems is his true passion.

    Born in 1987. Janis formerly worked on software development for Verifone payment terminals and joined the Vendon team at the beginning of 2012. Janis is responsible for development of Vendon firmware.

  • Kristians Vebergs

    Kristians Vebers

    Developer

    Born in 1989. Kristians joined the Vendon team in May 2011 to apply his five year experience in building user friendly web interfaces to further develop Vendon system software (vSoft). His scope of responsibility also includes API connections and extended integration of telemetry data exchange systems for Vendon customers.

  • Mikus Valdbergs

    Mikus Valdbergs

    Developer

    Born in 1979. Joined Vendon at the beginning of 2012. Mikus is responsible for planning and implementation of Vendon software (vSoft) development process together with PHP programmers. From 2001–2011, he worked for the Scandinavian company Aspiro on various SMS projects. During the last years, Mikus was responsible for planning and coordination of SMS platform development process for Aspiro customers in the Baltic States and Scandinavian countries. Mikus has extensive experience in planning and implementation of platforms for IT bulk data.

Modern building and second home to our team

Vendon is a part of the largest group of IT companies in Latvia. A total of more than 100 IT specialists work in seven companies of the group. We create innovative products to enable smoother communication between people and enhance our clients' business optimisation. Our new and ecologically friendly building located near Riga International Airport (RIX) is second home to all of the employees of our group.
